We took a well-needed trip to……… Minneapolis!    We had a blast at this years National Convention. We met so many anchors, reporters and writers from well-known networks such as ESPN, CNN, ABC, The Los Angeles Times, etc..  Each day of the Convention, we attended sessions that taught us how to become the job before we get the job we want.  There were journalists from all over the world, who gave us advice we will never forget.  Professionals were able to critique our reels, cover letters, and resumes.  During the Career Fair we had the chance to meet and converse with professionals in the TV, print, and radio business.  There were internships and potential job opportunities available to us.  Next year there will be a National Convention in Washington, D.C.  NABJ-NIU will be in attendance.
